Me? Yes and no. This blog is about me, but I hope that it points to The Father thus making it about Him. This is my highest ambition in life… that I might merely be a vessel for His glory. His ways…not mine. You see I did it my own way for a long time. Eighteen years in fact. I ran to the things of the world to satisfy and numb; to give me worth and validation. At age eighteen the Lord allowed me to hit rock bottom. A high school drop out addicted to and dealing drugs, miserable and alone, I realized that my life circumstances were in many ways caused by my decisions which were being made because I didn’t know I had a Father who cared for me. I didn’t know and so I did life the only way that made sense to me.  I was in deep and couldn’t pull myself out. The only place I had left, my hail mary so to speak, was to take this risk on the person and finished work of Jesus. Could He love me? Could He be enough for me?

He was:) He rescued me from the pit that I had dug myself. “He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me,” Psalm 18:19.

Fast forward ten years and I find myself more in love with God than I ever have been. He continues to reveal sin and broken areas in my life that need redemption/healing. He continues to invite me in closer to Himself. I’ve been through a lot of seasons in the past ten years as a believer and at this point I can say I’d rather be absorbed in His presence and deeply involved in His plan to bring hope to the nations than anything else this world has to offer. That desire can be manifested in any occupation but for now I am convinced of my calling and His invitation to partner with Him in working with Adventures in Missions.

How YOU can be involved:

I am a partially support raised missionary.

I rely deeply on the partnerships that the Lord establishes as a team of individuals that are just as engaged in building the Kingdom as I am.

It’s important. It’s biblical. It’s a lot of fun to dream and invest together!

You can click the “Support Me” tab to the left to either leave a special gift or sign up for a monthly pledge that will go towards everything required for me to live and minister in various ‘fields’ that He send me to.

In addition to monetary support I LOVE and very much NEED  folks on board who are committed to praying for me, my team, and the work of the Lord in the Nations.

If you would like to receive a email when I update my blog with prayer request and updates please enter your email in the field to the left.

If you would like a newsletter to be emailed to you or mailed directly to your home, please contact me via Facebook (Robin Howell) and we can exchange information.

Thank you for your partnership in the Gospel!

  1. I am administrative secretary at St Paul UMC in Gainesville, GA where your mom, Marcia Howell, attends. I read your testimony and had to tell you that like you I went through this same thing with my precious son. In 2004, he hit rock bottom and God has made the most wonderful work in him and his precious little family. He is now serving God here in Gainesville and tells everyone who asks how God delivered him and what God has done for him. Thank you for sharing your testimony to the world!! I will definitely be remembering you in my prayers. God is so good!!!!

  2. Hi Susan! Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and your prayers! And so cool to hear about your son and the Fathers work to bring him back in the fold:) Praise the Lord! God’s plan truly is perfect.
