Close your eyes. Well not yet, but I want to take you into a space with me that the Father has taken me so read this and then close your eyes and let yourself sink into it. 

It's early morning in the fall. You are sitting outside on the porch of a beautiful old farmhouse with a wrap around porch complete with rocking chairs and swings.

You look out over the vast field before you as you see the sun breaking over the tree line. You are in your most comfortable attire (for me- oversized sweatpants, flannel, and thick socks). You have your journal in your lap and your favorite hot beverage of choice.

As you contemplate the murmurings of your heart and mind you look over to see the Father, your Father, sitting beside you eager to hear the unfiltered version of all that makes you tick.

You can see in His face his concern, love, and deep desire to just be with you. All you can do is melt into Him as your poster relaxes and your smile breaks.

The rest of the day is spent enjoying one another in the house while you remain in your Pj's, make the kitchen as dirty as possible without cleaning it, and dance around on the dark hardwood floors.

It is a day of bliss.

A day when you are a slave only to the scandalous freedom afforded to you by the One who calls you His. 

There is nothing that needs to be done. Just enjoying His presence and His affection for you. 

Now close your eyes and sit in that place.

Can you see Him? Is anything holding you back from the "more" of himself that He offers? 

Get rid of it.

Whatever it is, it isn't worth holding on to. The riches of His love awaits and it cannot be compared to anything else we've ever known!
