Yet... 

This is one of my favorite words up in the North:) They tend to use it a little differently than we do in the South. Or maybe it's just more abundantly used... I'm not sure but regardless, it carries more weight here and I like it. 

They might say something like, "There's more to come yet." Or "there is still some good weather yet."

It really does carry the weight and definition of: the more to come. 

You ever been in a season where you just feel like certainly His good plan must be over? Like somehow you've encountered the end of your road and your just spent over the whole thing. Broken and downcast with hope dwindling despite your best efforts of holding your head up? 

If you haven't been in one of those seasons, maybe your perfect? Or maybe you haven't lived long enough or risked deep enough for your heart to break? Or maybe you're just better at holding onto truth than I am:)

Regardless, today my heart is encouraged of the 'yet' of the Lord. I see His smile and bright eyes lightly saying, "oh my Child, there is more to come yet." 

So that's it. Super quick moment of a blog. 

If you find yourself in one of those life moments look to Him and hear His sweet words through the crack of His smile saying:

"Oh my child, there is more to come yet."

Let go. Trust. Put the peace back on. And see what happens next.
