Winter Wonderland
"The music is painting a picture on canvas that can not only be seen with my eyes, but tangibly felt with every fiber of my being. It's creating an environment for my soul to breathe and my heart to forget it's worries. It's doing what, I believe, any music or real art should do; it's taking me on a transcendent journey to another place.
The music takes me to a place in my mind where I'm sitting in a window nook with a good cup of coffee, a warm blanket, an open journal, and this music. I am losing myself in the moment. It's tranquil. The snow is falling outside, it's accumulation inviting me to melt into the space of the moment – there is no where to be, and nothing to prove.
The reality that for now, maybe even just for a quite moment, I can rest.
The song changes, my soul inhales and exhales again. For now, this place, is everything in the world that I want and everything that I need.
